Nizamabad: Goats Arrested, Fined For Eating Plants Meant For Haritha Haaram May 31, 2021, 11:21 IST Telangana: The Telangana government started the Haritha Haaram- a green cover initiative and initiated a plant cultivation drive to raise saplings through various methods. Millions of plants are being raised in this manner for the drive to be planted across the State. Nizamabad district officials are also working hard to conserve plants in accordance with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao s vision. As per reports plants on the premises of Bodhan Municipality in Nizamabad District were eaten up by goats, prompting the authorities to impose a fine on the owner. This was despite the appropriate measures taken to protect the plants.
