YBOR CITY, Fla- â The City of Tampa is hoping to vaccinate more young people by hosting a vaccination party in Ybor City.
Ybor city will host DJ s, freebies, and shots to help increase the number of fully vaccinated Gen Zer s before Memorial Day weekend arrives.

TAMPA, FL The city of Tampa will be hitting the streets this weekend with a mobile vaccination unit accompanied by disc jockeys and giveaways to vaccinate Gen Z, adults age 18-24.
On Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8, from 5 to 9 p.m., the mobile unit will be at the intersection of 16th Street and 7th Avenue in Ybor City to give out shot and freebies to ensure that Gen Zers are fully vaccinated before Memorial Day weekend.

TAMPA, Fla. â Billions of gallons of treated water are lost every year in Tampa, and it s driving up customers water bills.
The city is now working to stop those losses, but it may take years to see major improvements.
Tampa s drinking water comes from the Hillsborough River. It is filtered, pumped into reservoirs, treated with chemicals then sent through a network of underground pipes serving 145,000 residential and commercial customers.
