ODESSA, Texas 3,900 doses of the Pfizer vaccine are expected to arrive to the Medical Center Hospital early in the week of January 18, and hospital officials say that allotment from the federal government is expected to continue on a weekly basis.
With this, officials from the City of Odessa confirmed they are partnering up with the Medical Center Hospital and ECISD to set up a program that will safely allow thousands of people to get the COVID-19 vaccine in the parking lot of Ratliff Stadium.

A Lubbock man who illegally sold an AR-15-style rifle to the gunman who used it to kill seven people in a deadly rampage across two West Texas cities was sentenced Thursday to two years in federal prison, the U.S. attorney’s office said.

ODESSA, Texas The City of Odessa Incident Command team is working with local hospitals for the COVID-19 vaccine distribution.
As of Jan. 6, ORMC has received the vaccine and is now accepting walk-ins for the first round of vaccinations.
Texans in Phase 1B will be able to visit ORMC Community Health Center located at 520 E. 6th Street during select hours without scheduling and receive the first injection of the vaccine.
Once you have received the first injection, a second injection will be scheduled.
37-year-old Antonia Martinez was arrested.

ODESSA, Texas Odessa Fire Rescue and Marshals responded to a structure fire in the 2500 block of E. 2nd St.
The incident occurred on January 5 around 8:55 p.m.
The structure is typically abandoned, but was occupied at the time by several transients.
The building had major fire damages and a female, who was on the scene, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
37-year-old Antonia Martinez was identified as the female transported to the hospital and was arrested for Arson F-1.
