ODESSA, Texas Odessa Fire Rescue and Marshals responded to a structure fire in the 2500 block of E. 2nd St.
The incident occurred on January 5 around 8:55 p.m.
The structure is typically abandoned, but was occupied at the time by several transients.
The building had major fire damages and a female, who was on the scene, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
37-year-old Antonia Martinez was identified as the female transported to the hospital and was arrested for Arson F-1.

ODESSA, TX – A 37-year-old Odessa woman is facing arson charges after she allegedly set a building on fire.
According to law enforcement officials, firefighters were dispatched to the area of East 2nd Street for reports of a fire.
When firefighters arrived in the area they located an abandoned building on fire. The building had several transient individuals inside.
The building sustained sufficient damage as a result of the fire.
The suspect, identified as Antonia Martinez, was initially taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
After the investigation, Martinez was charged with starting the fire. She faces a charge of first-degree arson.
