Fly to Colorado from Twin Falls, Council Approves Agreement
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-Flights between Twin Falls and Denver, Colorado will begin this summer following the approval by the Twin Falls City Council Tuesday evening.
United Express will provide non-stop service from the Magic Valley Regional Airport and Denver International Airport beginning May 12, as part of a transportation service agreement with SkyWest Airlines, travelers will be able to start booking flights on February 12. “We’re excited for the addition of a United route to Denver International Airport because it will expand the Magic Valley’s connectivity to more flights and destinations around the world,” Mayor Suzanne Hawkins said in a prepared statement. “As a vibrant and growing community, the citizens and businesses of the City of Twin Falls and surrounding communities seek greater connectivity to family, friends, and colleagues. Donations Being Accepted for Twin Falls Honor Wall
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-Donations are being accepted to help build a memorial in Twin Falls to honor veterans and emergency responders.
The Twin Falls Community Foundation began accepting donation for the Twin Falls Honor Wall in late January. The wall is part of an effort by local businessman Scott Martin to honor military veterans, police, firefighters and first responders on the wall located in the Downtown Commons next to City Hall.
During a Twin Falls City Council meeting on November 9, Martin presented the proposal to the council to build the memorial for veterans within Twin Falls County. The memorial will feature plaques with the veteran s name and service along with an incased eternal flame.

TWIN FALLS – Magic Valley anglers have another opportunity to pursue a new unique winter fishery for rainbow trout following the stocking of large rainbow trout into the Snake River at Centennial Waterfront Park, near Twin Falls.
In late January, Koehn Farms will be donating 9,000 trout, which weigh over one pound, into the Snake River. This donation comes about due to an unfortunate decline in demand for rainbow trout bound for retail markets.
