When Ontario moved into Step 3 of its reopening plan on July 16, many people did something they hadn’t been able to do for more than a year: head to the movie theatre.

SilverCity in Sudbury will be among select Cineplex theatres in Ontario that will reopen this Friday.
“We are excited to welcome our guests back to select Cineplex theatres across the province, as nothing compares to the big screen experience that we’ve all been missing,” Sarah Van Lange, executive director of communications for Cineplex, said in a release Wednesday.
