KVRR Local News February 24, 2021 It’ll be the 24th annual St. Patty’s parade to hit downtown streets. The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 20 from the Moorhead Center Mall. It’ll will make its way across the Red River into Fargo and down Broadway. People are asked to wear a mask and be mindful of social distancing. Last year’s parade was canceled because of the pandemic. This year’s parade also includes some other fun events including a coloring contest and ShamRock n Run by GoFar Events. The Grand Marshall for the parade will be Jack Sunday, who recently retired from KFGO radio after 30 years.

Forum file photo FARGO Organizers for this year s St. Patrick s Parade have raised half of their $10,000 fundraising goal and are aiming to line up 50 floats for the event, which in the past has come close to extinction for a variety of reasons. One person instrumental in planning this year s parade said she s hopeful the city of Fargo will one day become sponsor of the event, thereby making its continued existence more certain.
