GREAT FALLS â Great Falls will soon welcome musical acts from around the country - that s what owners of The Newberry, a newly-announced concert venue and bar, hope to accomplish.
They shared their vision for the business on Tuesday; attendees were able to see what the space may look when it s completed.
âExpect national touring acts in here on a weekly basis, rocking the house, having awesome shows every single week,â said Scott Reasoner, one of the five partners in the project. The five partners are Reasoner, who is the general manager and president of the Great Falls Voyagers; Tim Peterson of LPW Architecture; Andy Ferrin and Seth Swingley, organizers of Music On The Mo, Alive @ 5, and Downtown Summer Jam events; and Keith Schneider of PayneWest Insurance.

GREAT FALLS â The organizers of the Downtown Summer Jam on Thursday announced the acts that will perform this summer. Enbar, The Block Bar & Grill, Mighty Mo Brewing Company, and Fat Tuesday Casino are again teaming up to host the three three concerts.
Lainey Wilson takes the stage July 21; Chris Bandi is scheduled for August 11; and Jackson Dean will perform August 26.

GREAT FALLS â Tourism officials in Great Falls are looking forward to 2021 and the possibilities it brings for travelers.
Great Falls Montana Tourism director Rebecca Engum says while it s a calendar new year, the organization s fiscal year resets on July 1st.
They re approaching a full year without bringing in usual events like Western Art Week, Downtown Summer Jam, the Montana State Fair, and Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals. The PRCA event was moved to Kalispell this year due to Covid-19. She said last year, around 9,000 tickets were sold over the three day rodeo event in Great Falls. Room demand also grew 12% that week.
