Fargo Police Release Surveillance Footage of Jesus Statue Vandalism

(Fargo, ND) The Fargo Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person who vandalized a statue outside of St. Mary’s Cathedral. Authorities say the incident happened at the Downtown Fargo place of worship off Broadway North on Saturday, April 17th at approximately 3:23 a.m. If you have any information regarding the identity of the persons in the video, you re asked to please call the Investigations Unit at (701) 241-1405 or text a tip and keyword FARGOPD to 847411. Jesus Christ statue vandalized at Downtown Fargo Cathedral

Madison Quinn, KFGO FARGO (KFGO) –  A Statue of Jesus Christ on the St. Mary’s Cathedral grounds in Downtown Fargo was vandalized over the weekend. Someone sprayed Black spray paint on the face of the statue.  Many people have taken to social media asking for the person to come forward.  Diocese of Fargo spokesman Paul Braun says the vandalism occurred sometime late Friday, or early Saturday.  Braun says Fargo police are investigating. As this story develops, we will give you updates.  

Lane Closure on University Drive North Begins April 19th

(Fargo, ND) A bit of a delay should be expected if you're traveling around the Downtown Fargo area Monday. Beginning April 19th, one lane on University Drive North between 11th and 3rd Avenue North will be closed. Crews will be working on overhead power lines.
