(Fargo, ND) The Fargo Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person who vandalized a statue outside of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
Authorities say the incident happened at the Downtown Fargo place of worship off Broadway North on Saturday, April 17th at approximately 3:23 a.m.

FARGO (KFGO) – A Statue of Jesus Christ on the St. Mary’s Cathedral grounds in Downtown Fargo was vandalized over the weekend.
Someone sprayed Black spray paint on the face of the statue. Many people have taken to social media asking for the person to come forward. Diocese of Fargo spokesman Paul Braun says the vandalism occurred sometime late Friday, or early Saturday. Braun says Fargo police are investigating.
