The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission has decided to give warnings to Vo Thanh Ha, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation, for his wrongdoings in land management in District 1, HCMC.

Ha is former Secretary of the Party Committee and former Chairman of Sai Gon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage JSC (Sabeco).
The decision was made during the third meeting of the commission held in Hanoi from May 11-14.

New container terminals to be built in Hai Phong
A project building container terminals No 3 and 4 at the Hai Phong International Gateway Port in the Lach Huyen Port area was launched in the northern port city on May 12.
With a total length of 750 metres and a width of 50 metres, the two terminals will be able to berth 160 TEU (3,000 DWT) vessels. The project’s total area is 47 ha.
Approved by the Prime Minister on January 9, 2019, the project is scheduled to be totally completed in 2024, one year earlier than planned.

Hanoi (VNS/VNA) -
Hitachi SE s renewable energy business expanded its
market to Vietnam by signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Trung Nam
Wind Power Joint Stock Company of Trung Nam Group (TNG) in Ho Chi Minh City on
May 14.
The event also marked a new step for TNG in attracting foreign investors to the
firm s renewable energy projects.
Currently,
Trung Nam Wind Power Joint Stock Company is operating a 151.95 MW
wind farm in Ninh Thuan province worth 4 trillion VND (172.4 million USD), with

lychee exports, which must be sterilised prior to being exported to the country,
Hoang Trung, Director of the Plant Protection Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, has said.

HCM City (VNS/VNA) - Exports of cassava and cassava-based products were
estimated to be worth 443 million USD in the first four months of the year, a
year on-year increase of 23.9 percent, according to the Agro Processing and
Market Development Authority.
