NORTH HAVEN, CT Two brothers missing from North Haven were found safe with their mother Wednesday in Florida, according to police.
Silver Alerts were issued Monday for Lucifer and Thor Guy, who were believed to be with their mother, Brittany Young. Thor is 12 months and Lucifer is 2.
North Haven police responded to the 100 block of Montowese Avenue on Dec. 26 to assist the Connecticut Department of Children and Families with a welfare check, according to officials.

Police found that Young may have left with the children to avoid DCF involvement, officials said. They weren t found at the home or the homes of other relatives or friends, according to police.

Two little boys who were reported missing from North Haven have been found in Tampa, Florida and they are safe, police said.
Police were called Saturday to assist the state Department of Children and Families with a welfare check on 2-year-old Lucifer Guy and his 12-month-old brother, Thor, and learned the boys were with their mother, who might have fled to avoid DCF involvement, police said.
The boys and their mother were found Wednesday in Tampa, Florida and they are safe, police said.

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. Silver Alerts have been canceled for two young boys out of North Haven.
Police said the 1 and 2-year-old brothers were believed to have been with their mother when the Silver Alert was issued Monday.
Police were initially called to the home to help the Connecticut Department of Children and Families with a welfare check when it was learned the mother may have fled with the children to avoid DCF involvement.
North Haven police said with the hell of the Hillsborough County Sherriff s Office (Child Protective Investigation division) in Florida, the boys were found with their mother in Tampa. Police said all were found safe.

NORTH HAVEN â Two children and a mother missing from North Haven prompted police to issue a Silver Alert on Monday.
Lucipher and Thor Guy are believed to be with their mother, Brittany Young, but were last seen in Northford on Saturday, North Haven police said in a statement posted on the departmentâs Facebook page.
Police want to find the three âto ensure they are safe and being adequately cared for,â according to the statement.
Anyone with information about Young and her children is asked to call police at 203-239-1616.
