GRISWOLD – Daniel Webster Fenn Fiamengo, 60, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Dan was born April 18, 1961 in Waterbury, son of Doris M. (Stone) Fenn, of Norwich, and the late Donald Webster Fenn Sr. Raised on the family farm in Thomaston, Dan attended local schools and attended Thomaston High School.
He had been employed in construction as a heavy equipment operator and will be remembered as an excellent mechanic.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Janae; his brother, Donald Webster Fenn Jr. of Morris; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Duane D. Fenn and his paternal grandparents, longtime Thomaston residents Merton and May Fenn.

THOMASTON – Eileen (Perreault) Ferency, 84, died on Oct. 3, 2019, following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Born in Waterbury, Eileen graduated from Thomaston High School in 1953 and was married in 1954.
She is survived by her children, Cathy, Donald (Carolyn), David (Nancy, deceased), and Daniel (Patricia); her brother Roger and wife Peg; 10 nieces and nephews; and 22 great-nieces and -nephews.
Following the untimely death of her husband Donald in 1967, Eileen went to work for the Litchfield school system while raising her children. In 1976 she received a diploma as a graduate of the Practical Nurse Education Program with the state of Connecticut before settling into a lengthy career working in retail furniture and office supplies.

A graveside for Sylvia M. Harjula, who died December 10, 2020, will be held Friday, May 14, 2021, at 11 a.m., at the Village Cemetery, Erin Street, Thomaston. The Rev. David English will officiate.

THOMASTON Sylvia M. Harjula, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, following a brief illness.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, June 29, 1934, she was the daughter of Arthur E. And Laura M. (Aalto) Harjula. She began school in Quincy and after moving to Thomaston with her family in 1949, graduated from
Sheila D. Sawyer.
CAMDEN Sheila D. Sawyer, 77, died peacefully at home following a hard-fought battle with respiratory disease, Monday, April 12, 2021.
Born in Rockland, October 28, 1943, Sheila was one of three daughters born to Russell and Edith Douglas Sevon. She was educated locally and graduated from Thomaston High School.
As a young woman she was employed at Sylvania for several years. Following graduation, Sheila married Duane R. Sawyer whom she met in high school. Together they raised two boys, Bryan and Jason. Although they later divorced they remained friends.
For over 20 years, Sheila was the smiling face behind the counter at Brooks Pharmacy and later Rite-Aid in Camden. Her friendly, helpful nature made her a perfect fit as she served customers, many of whom became friends.

THOMASTON – Another sign that the COVID-19 pandemic may be coming to an end â the Landmark Community Theatre is getting ready to reopen.
First up is standup comedian Tom Cotter at 8 p.m. on May 1. This is a fundraiser for Thomaston High Schoolâs Project Graduation. that was postponed last spring because of the pandemic. Project Graduation is a non-alcoholic celebration for graduating seniors.
