One of the consequences of the longevity of the coronavirus pandemic is disruptions in supply chains. At the beginning of the pandemic, there were shortages of everyday necessities like toilet paper and cleaning products. As time went on, food shortages became a problem for some regions of the country. Now the supply chain is being blamed for a shortage of Chick-fil-A sauce.
The announcement by Chick-fil-A today that many of its 2,600 restaurants will be implementing a limit of one sauce packet per entree is likely causing some heartburn for its loyal customers. Chick-fil-A patrons love its special sauce. Fortunately, the company is not experiencing a shortage of chicken.

Anyone who loves Chick-fil-A has a specific sauce they order every time they pull into the drive-thru. For me, that s Chick-fil-A sauce (or Polynesian if I want to mix it up), but maybe you re more of a Garden Herb Ranch or Zesty Buffalo person yourself. Whatever your ride-or-die sauce is, you should know that Chick-fil-A is facing some supply chain issues and is currently limiting sauce purchases per customer.
On the Chick-fil-A website, there s a short pop-up that reads Industrywide Supply Chain Shortages and goes on to say that due to industrywide supply chain shortages, some items, like sauces, may be unavailable. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. This news comes nearly a month after a ketchup packet shortage was announced that s affecting restaurants nationwide.

Sauces at Chick-fil-A will be limited to one sauce per entree, two sauces per meal and three sauces per 30-count nuggets, according to the press release from Chick-fil-A. The restaurant asked for customers to be patient with employees who are doing the best they can given the circumstances.
