Oven
In 2012, permaculture instructor Stacey Tress built a cob oven with her husband after they took a workshop in northern Saskatchewan. Tress says the traditional outdoor oven, made from clay, sand, and straw, is capable of baking rustic bread, whole roasts, or wood fire pizza – making it an ideal summer kitchen component.
On an acreage surrounded by a diversified blend of mature trees and shrubs, Stacey Tress of Garden Therapy Yorkton in Rhein is realizing her dream of building a thriving permaculture lifestyle. In the future, the multi-talented visionary plans to welcome visitors to engage in workshops that teach horticulture, holistic nutrition, permaculture, and homeopathy.
