Ram has been building special limited edition “Build to Serve” trucks to celebrate the United States Armed Forces. So far, the automaker has built these special trucks to honor all five branches of the United States Armed Forces. The fifth and final installment in the series introduces 500 units in a color called Spitfire and 750 in Bright White.
The military branch-inspired interior will be available in showrooms starting in Q2 of 2021. The Built to Serve edition’s fifth installment offers a maritime force-inspired theme with both exterior color options featuring a black interior with orange accent stitching. With the fifth and final version of the truck revealed, each of the five US military service branches has been honored by Ram with two specially selected exterior paint colors meant to evoke the spirit, mission, and history of that service.
Ram has been paying tribute to the five traditional branches of the U.S. military with 1500 Built to Serve special editions.
The program is now coming to an end as Ram has introduced the fifth and final variant that features a “maritime force-inspired theme with both Spitfire and Bright White exterior colors.” While the company didn’t exactly come out and say it, this is effectively the Coast Guard Edition.
Besides the two paint choices, the truck has a number of black components including the grille, bumpers, badges, side steps and exhaust tips. They’re joined by body-color fender flares and 20-inch aluminum wheels with a Technical Gray finish. The model also sports a U.S. flag and a “Built to Serve” decal on the rear quarter panels.

Paying tribute to those who serve America so valiantly.
The Ram 1500 was already a good truck long before the TRX model brought a whole new group of enthusiasts to the brand, but that s not the only special edition around. Recently, Ram started offering its Built to Serve trucks - built to honor the US armed forces - to regular citizens and not just veterans. These have been offered in stages, with the most recent model being revealed in November last year. That was batch four of five, and now the final allotment has dropped. As before, unique paint, special badges, and themed interior trims feature throughout. So what does this final group look like?
