Western announces $4.7 million project to remodel Public Safety Training Facility in Sparta

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) Western Technical College on Monday announced a $4.7 million remodeling and expansion project at its Public Safety Training Facility in Sparta.
The project will expand and reconfigure space in the facility at 11177 Hwy. A in Sparta to accommodate the emergency medical services program, which will move to the facility from the downtown La Crosse campus. The project will also include expanded classroom space for Western’s Law Enforcement-720 Academy, as well as additional fire bay space for scenario training for Western’s Fire Protection Technician program.
