SAE Institute opens its doors in Abu Dhabi to hone the skills of the UAE’s young creative talent.
SAE Institute, the global leader in creative media education, is now operating in Abu Dhabi, offering creative media degree programs across the fields of Animation, Film-making, Graphic Design and Games Development. According to a report published by Oxford Business Group, “Abu Dhabi’s media market has continued to expand and mature since 2007. The local government’s sustained support for the sector is largely attributable to the success of the emirate’s free zone twofour54, which continues to attract major media companies. At the same time, the zone’s many outreach and training programmes aimed at attracting young talent are paying dividends, and helping economic diversification targets.”
Many companies have college intern programs to provide students career experience while allowing the company an opportunity to identify those that may be a good fit to join the team upon their graduation. We certainly utilize this approach at Keysight with a robust college intern recruiting and post-graduation hiring program. But the often-overlooked high school intern engagement is another approach Keysight uses to support student development while also identifying potential future employee candidates.
