Terror incidents in J&K declines but cross-border firing increased: MHA
New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) Union Home Ministry on Wednesday said that there had been a significant decline in the terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir in the last three years but instances of cross border firing from Pakistan have seen an abrupt increase on LoC.
Responding to a question in Rajya Sabha, the Union Minister of State for Home G Kishen Reddy said, “During the past three years, there has been a significant decline in terror incidents and attempts of infiltration from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir. However, the incidents of shelling from across the border have increased during the past three years.”
