Once home to the bakery La Panzanella, a corner development site at 1314 E. Union St. is on the market. Now prospective buyer Euclid Development has filed a seven-story, 80-unit apartment plan. Board & Vellum prepared the early proposal.
The Capitol Hill corner, at 14th Avenue, is now home to 10 Degrees, Oola Tasting Room, Bar Sue, Tacos de la Noche and Union Seattle some of which may be closed owing to the pandemic. The corner has 11,664 square feet, and is zoned up to 75 feet. It last traded for $409,000 in 1994 to Ciro Pasciuto, who earlier founded and later sold the bakery. The building dates to 1963, and will eventually be removed.
