Manchester United have become the latest Premier League club to offer their facilities to help the NHS response to the pandemic.
Four hospitality suites at Old Trafford are being provided by Man Utd as a large-scale training facility for hundreds of COVID-19 vaccinator volunteers.
Over the next five weekends, members of St John Ambulance will use the suites to teach volunteers how to administer the vaccine, with those trained at Old Trafford delivering vaccines across Greater Manchester. The suites, parking, access and our dedicated events team can be valuable assets to this national effort to tackle COVID-19, the club s chief operating officer Collette Roche told the club s official website.

Jordan Henderson knows first-hand how important the National Health Service is, and is fully aware of how badly it has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
So the Liverpool captain is eager to highlight the valuable fundraising work being done for the NHS, after becoming the first official NHS Charities Together Champion.
“My relationship with NHS Charities Together began in April with the launch of the #PlayersTogether COVID-19 appeal, and having family members who work for the NHS, I know as well as anyone what impact the pandemic has had across the board,” he told Liverpool’s official website.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has announced that has become the first official NHS Charities Together ‘Champion’. It follows on from his work last spring when he launched #PlayersTogether to help support and raise money for the NHS in the fight against coronavirus.
The #PlayersTogether appeal generated funds to help those battling the pandemic on the NHS front-lines. Henderson will now take on a wider role with that will bring light to the work being done by various NHS charities and aims of longer term, as well as short-term, support.
