said the announcementwas contained in a letter from Elske Van de Fliert, the Director, Centre for Communication and Social Change, School of Communication and Arts, University of Queensland, Australia, on behalf of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR).
“Their winning proposal, titled “Trust and Mistrust in a Pandemic: Evaluation of Acceptance of COVID-19 Communication Tools in Use in Nigeria”, was adjudged among the best two from all entries received by the international body from communication scholars across the globe,” Mr Adekoya said.

Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Programme Assistant in Zamboanga, and under the direct supervision of Field Coordinator, the incumbent will be accountable and responsible for supporting IOM’s various humanitarian, development and peacebuilding programmes in the provinces of Basilan, Sulu or Tawi-Tawi (to be determined) in line with IOM policies, standards and commitments.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
Conduct community awareness raising and communication for development on Trafficking in Person in the field,
Support the team in ensuring the proper execution of operational plan in the field, timely feedback, filing of operational and administrative documents and other means of verifications such as but not limited to acknowledgement receipts, confirmations, deed of donation, etc.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has urged those who received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, AstraZeneca vaccine, to take a second dose for stronger immunity against the virus.
Mrs Elizabeth Onitolo, UNICEF Communication for Development (C4D) Specialists, made the call in Yola on Wednesday at a three-day media dialogue on Immunisation, Post-polio Certification and COVID-19 Vaccination.
The programme was organised by the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture in collaboration with UNICEF.
Onitolo urged those who were vaccinated to also observe the protocols to safeguard other people from the virus.
