(WKBT) – La Crescent Public Schools is holding a garage sale to get rid of old and outdated items. Furniture, equipment, and supplies was Thursday on sale in the Elementary School Gym and High and Middle School Media Center. Money raised will help pay for projects for the school buildings. District leaders say thanks to construction at schools, the sale will help get rid of items they no longer need. “It’s a good way to get rid of some old equipment that we’re not using or can’t use, or just doesn’t function for us as well. And rather than throwing it away somewhere, this has worked out well,” said La Crescent Public Schools Superintendent Kevin Cardille.
