A 23-year-old man faces multiple charges after a raid near Country Hill Drive and Block Line in Kitchener.
Police say their Drugs and Firearms Unit executed a warrant in the area and seized cash, suspected fentanyl, cocaine, psilocybin and other illicit drugs.
The man is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking among other related charges.

Four new fines handed out to those not following COVID measures
Provincial enforcement officers have also returned to the region to do inspections of businesses, personal service settings and rec. facilities

Four new fines have been issued in Waterloo Region to those not following the measures put in place to help control the spread of COVID-19.
Three of the fines were handed out between March 4 to March 10, while one was from the previous reporting period.
Public health officials fined Silver Spoon Caribbean Restaurant in Cambridge $880 for failing to comply with a continued order regarding physical distancing, PPE, screening and not making a safety plan available.
LRT track work will mean weekend service disruptions in Kitchener
Grand River Transit says part of the LRT line will be closed for track work this weekend, which may impact passengers at Mill Station, Block Line Station and Fairway Station.
