A SUPERFIT duo getting ready to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for charity put hand-made arts and crafts on display to boost their fundraising bid. Port Glasgow pair Rena Wiggins, 76, and Senga Smith, 62, pitched up in the Coronation Park with an Easter stall to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support. The fundraising friends are part of a £70,000 charity mission to climb the mountain. It has been postponed because of the pandemic, so they have been keeping busy making up chocolate and knitted treats as they continue to support the charity. Rena said: We were supposed to climb Mount Kilmanjaro last year but it was cancelled and we are just waiting until we get the go-ahead to go.
