How far would you go to get promoted in your professional life? Well, a fair bit it seems for these 25 staffers of the
Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (
PCMC), who apparently submitted fake typing certificates to climb up the ladder.
Upon discovery, PCMC undertook a departmental inquiry. It resulted in the civic body giving these staffers a stern warning they were told that if they are found submitting fake certificates again, their services will be terminated immediately without prior notice. No other action was taken, and the civic body chose to eschew criminal proceedings against the employees.
