Police received a call on May 19 for a group of baby turkeys in a yard on Hamilton Street. The animal control officer responded to the scene. Here’s hoping the baby birds were reunited with their mother.
No longer in running for employee of the month
The manager of Honeybaked Ham reported that a temporary employee stole money out of the cash register and she had footage of the incident.
Gas tank hijinks
A First Street resident reported vandalism to his vehicle, telling police he believed someone added an unknown substance to his gas tank three weeks ago and was having problems with his vehicle.
