Indonesian Navy searching for submarine with 53 aboard

JAKARTA: Indonesia´s military said it was searching for a submarine with 53 crew aboard after losing contact with the vessel during naval exercises off the coast of Bali on Wednesday.
The German-built KRI Nanggala 402 had been scheduled to do live torpedo exercises when it asked for permission to dive early on Wednesday morning, authorities said. After permission was given according to the procedure, the submarine lost contact and could not be reached, the defence ministry said.
A helicopter looking for the missing vessel spotted an oil spill in waters where the submarine was thought to have submerged, it added. The navy dispatched warships off the northern coast of the holiday island to search for it, while neighbours Singapore and Australia as well as India had been asked for help. Police are searching for a man believed to be involved in a serious firearms incident in Motueka today.
Another man received moderate injuries in the incident. One male has been injured as a result and is currently receiving medical attention, Nelson Bays area commander Inspector Paul Borrell confirmed this afternoon.

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Georgetown Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a man missing from an assisted living center.
Police officers are looking for 72-year-old Johnny Lane who was reported missing from South Island Assisted Living.
According to police, Lane was last seen around 1:30 p.m. when he left South Island Assisted Living on his own to go to the store.

Memphis Police are searching for a woman who fired a gun at a Burger King drive-thru window after waiting too long to be served.
According to the Memphis Police Department, the incident occurred on Tuesday, March 30. Witnesses said the customer was upset with her wait time at the drive-thru on Winchester Rd. She walked up to the window and argued with one of the employees, Fox News reports.
