There were more questions surrounding Alberta premier Jason Kenney’s leadership last week, after one of his MLA’s wrote an open letter and asked for his resignation.
After months of what appears to be simmering discontent within the party, MLA’s Todd Loewen and Drew Barnes were expelled from the United Conservative Party caucus last Thursday (May 13). In his letter, Loewen stated that he had lost confidence in the premier and in his ability to lead.
