New training provider aims to offer high quality service that can address both the current needs of the HVAC sector, as well as future demand for installing renewable energy and hydrogen systems
The National Gas Centre for Excellence has been established in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, as part of efforts to provide higher quality training and assessment for engineers.
The 6,000 sq ft site, which operates as a standalone business not tied to any specific manufacturer, is the result of a £200,000 investment to build workshop and classroom spaces for users. The site is also fitted out with the latest heating, ventilation and plumbing technology to help build up practical experience, according to the National Gas Centre for Excellence.
