LOS ANGELES – Gonzaga’s Corey Kispert, Jalen Suggs and Drew Timme were named to the 2021 Men’s National Ballot for the John R. Wooden Award presented by Wendy’s the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced Saturday on ESPN’s College GameDay.
Selected by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board, the National Ballot consists of 15 student- athletes who are candidates for the Wooden Award All American Team and Wooden Award Trophy as the most outstanding college basketball player in the United States.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Redshirt senior guard Chelsea Dungee continues to rack up the national awards this season, as she earned a spot on the Wooden Award National Ballot, announced this morning. Selected by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board, the National Ballot consists of 15 student-athletes who are candidates for the Wooden Award All American Team and Wooden Award Trophy as the most outstanding college basketball player in the United States.
Dungee has cemented her legacy in her final season at Arkansas, putting together her best season on the Hill. Dungee is averaging career-highs in several categories this season, including points per game (22.2), field goal percentage (42.7 percent), and three-point percentage (38.2 percent). LOS ANGELES – Michaela Onyenwere has been named to the late season Top 20 watch list for the John R. Wooden Award™ Presented by Wendy s, the award announced Monday. The honor is presented annually to the most outstanding player in college basketball.
The 20 players were selected to the list by a poll of national college basketball experts based on their respective performances throughout the 2020-21 season thus far. The list was announced Monday afternoon on ESPNU.
Onyenwere earned a spot on the midseason Top 25 watch list and her impressive play has helped garner her a spot on the late season list. She ranks fourth in the Pac-12 in scoring (17.1 ppg) and second in rebounding (8.8 rpg), the only player in the Conference to rank in the top five in both categories.
