The change occurred Friday, according to the city’s website. Felicia N. Thompson, senior public information officer with the city’s Information Technology Services agency (ITS), stated that Arvay accepted an opportunity in the private sector. Hambric was named acting CIO following an internal selection process. Thompson didn’t confirm whether a national search for a permanent replacement is in motion or will occur.
