Program Objectives:
In 2019 the Dominican Republic was ranked 137/180 in the Corruption Perception Index. This index ranks countries and territories based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. At the same time, in the Global Corruption Barometer 66% of people in the Dominican Republic thought corruption increased in the previous 12 months.

Program Information: PEPFAR awards a limited number of grants to non-governmental organizations and other civil society entities in support of initiating a Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) program. This Program is aimed at improving client-centered HIV services under the Ambassadors Small Grants Program (ASG). These grants advance PEPFAR’s overarching goal of ending the HIV epidemic in Jamaica. The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is the U.S. government’s response to the global HIV epidemic and represents the largest commitment by any nation to address a single disease in history.

The U.S. Embassy in Abidjan – Cote d’Ivoire through the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Coordination Office (PCO) is pleased to announce an open Notification of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for organizations to submit applications that support Community – led Monitoring (CLM) activities to be implemented in close collaboration with local civil society organizations (CSOs) and host country governments.
The CLM program is funded through the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The goal of PEPFAR in Cote d’Ivoire is to support efforts to achieve HIV epidemic control through implementation of evidence-based interventions to drive progress in HIV prevention, care and treatment and ultimately, save lives.

This is a Notice of Funding Opportunity soliciting proposals from organizations that seek to assist Rwandan youth, women, persons with disabilities, and other audiences to have virtual access to U.S. Embassy programs.
