Doctors at a Kolkata Hospital can now look after COVID-19 patients virtually
As the country is facing an acute shortage of trained medical staff, amid pandemic, over 43,500 foreign medical graduates (FMGs) have offered their services to the government to join the battle against COVID.
These graduates have urged the government to include them as interns in confronting the deadly second wave of Coronavirus- without clearing the mandatory Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) exams.
The All India Foreign Medical Graduates Association sent a letter to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, seeking permission to work as interns and aid in the fight against COVID.

FMGE June 2021 application process: The application process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2021 will be closed on May 6. Interested candidates can apply through the website-
nbe.edu.in. The National Board of Examinations will conduct the exam for Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) on June 18.
The application correction window will be opened on May 9. The candidates, who want to make corrections in application process if any, can do so through the website- nbe.edu.in till May 11.Â

Four months after qualifying for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for postgraduate programmes in dentistry, candidates are still awaiting the counselling schedule.
With the Prime Minister announcing that NEET PG for medical students would not be announced till August 31, the counselling for dentistry students has also been indefinitely postponed.
The aspirants have approached all agencies from the National Board of Examinations to the Medical Counselling Committee and the Dental Council of India (DCI).

New Delhi: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Post-Graduate (NEET PG) has been postponed further and will be held only after August 31, 2021, a government order released today said. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) was scheduled to conduct the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Post-Graduate (NEET PG) on April 18, 2021.
The Ministry of Education however
postponed it till further notice due to the rising number of Coronavirus cases in India.

Diplomate of National Board Post-Diploma Centralized Entrance Test, DNB PDCET exam 2021 has been rescheduled in the light of rapidly rising cases of Covid-19 in the country. This announcement was made by the National Board of Exams on April 30, 2021.
Earlier, the DNB PDCET exam 2021 was scheduled to be held on May 9, 2021. The revised exam dates will be declared by the board in some time.
