KARACHI: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi visited foreign ships of navies participating in the 7th Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21.
Upon his arrival on board the foreign visiting ships, the Naval chief was warmly welcomed by senior officers and commanding officers and was presented a guard of honour by the smartly dressed-out contingents.
The Naval chief visited the Indonesian Navy Ship KRI BUNG TUMO, Russian Navy Ship ADMIRAL GRIGOROVICH and Sri Lankan Navy Ship GAJABAHU, amongst the platforms participating in the Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21.
The CNS interacted with senior officers and commanding officers and was briefed on board the ships.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The 9th International Maritime Conference (IMC-2021) organized by National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), under the aegis of Pakistan Navy and being conducted in tandem with 7th Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21, is in progress at the metropolis.
The IMC-21 is themed on ‘Development of Blue Economy under a Secure and Sustainable Environment: A Shared Future for Western Indian Ocean Region’.
The second Day of the IMC featured eminent international and national scholars to elucidate variety of issues pertaining to maritime security, environment and relevant growth opportunities in the region.

KARACHI: The seventh edition of the multinational maritime exercise Aman-2021 formally opened at the Pakistan Navy dockyard here on Friday with an impressive and colourful flag-hoisting ceremony in which flags of 45 participating countries were hoisted simultaneously.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior military representatives from the participating countries, observers, diplomats and Pakistan Navy officials.
The message of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Mohammad Amjad Khan Niazi, was read out on the occasion.
In his message, the Naval Chief welcomed participants of Exercise Aman ’21 and underlined that the exercise would provide a medium to develop doctrinal synergy to tackle maritime security challenges and enhance interoperability among navies at different pedestals of the technological prowess to

KARACHI: The guns boomed and the band struck high notes as the flags of over 45 countries were hoisted at the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works, formally inaugurating the multinational naval exercise AMAN 21 on Friday. It was quite an impressive sight to watch the smartly turned-out PN contingent slowly marching, guard of honour style, with outstretched arms bearing flags of participating countries towards the individual flag posts. As the Pakistan’s national anthem echoed at the flag hoisting, a fiesta of red, green, blue, browns, pink, orange and purple flares rose in the sky amidst crackling, thundering fireworks, instantly transforming the blue, sunny morning landscape into a kaleidoscope of colour.
9th International Maritime Conference kicks off in Karachi

KARACHI, Pakistan: The three-day 9th International Maritime Conference (IMC-21) kicked off in Karachi on Saturday under the auspices of the Pakistan Navy.
The three-day Conference is being organized by the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) from February 13-15, 2021 under the theme “Development of Blue Economy under a Security and Sustainable Environment – A Shared Future for Western Indian Ocean Region”.
The IMC-21 is being held in tandem with the ongoing 7th Multinational Maritime Exercise “AMAN-21”.
The President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi graced the Opening Session of the Conference as the Chief Guest.
