In a statement to Qatar News Agency on the occasion of Qatar’s National Day, His Excellency said that the government and people of Qatar can be very proud not only for being a nation so much advanced in the economic and social fields despite the various challenges that it had to face throughout history and recent times, particularly the Gulf crisis, but also for the very important role that Qatar has been playing at the regional and international arena, always practising a policy of peaceful solutions to conflicts and controversies and extending its hand of friendship and solidarity with other countries in need.
