COLUMBUS, Ind. – National Pavement Maintenance LLC will begin a crack-sealing and filling program in Columbus on Friday. The completion date for the project is June 1.
The program is part of the city’s preventive maintenance plan which will keep cracks sealed, allowing less water to penetrate the asphalt pavement, which results in fewer potholes and longer-lasting streets.
Crews will begin the project on Rocky Ford Road and then move to other areas in Columbus.
Streets will have “no parking” signs 24 hours in advance of when work will start. Parking will be allowed overnight, but vehicles must be moved by 8 a.m. or they will be towed.
