Eshelman earned the 2021 National Excellence in Teaching about Agriculture Award

BOLIVAR Patricia Eshelman, a teacher at Bolivar-Richburg Central School, has received the 2021 National Excellence in Teaching about Agriculture Award.
The award is sponsored by the National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization, U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture and Farm Credit. These organizations partner each year to honor teachers in Pre-K through 12th grade from around the country for the innovative ways they use agricultural concepts to teach reading, writing, math, science, social studies, STEM, STEAM and more.
Eshelman has taught at Bolivar-Richburg since 1999; her current schedule includes courses in Living Environment/Biology, Sustainable Living, and Agriculture.
