A prison catering manager who had an affair with an inmate and smuggled drugs hidden inside her bra has been jailed for 30 months.
Single mother-of-one Annette Causey, 34, sneaked in cannabis and tobacco inside her bra in exchange for cash after she got involved with 31-year old convicted armed robber Jamie Ellis at Category C Hindley jail in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
The pair swapped explicit love letters and text messages during their illicit romance and had sexual contact twice a day in the prison.
They would kiss and cuddle inside storerooms and fridges and she performed sex acts on the career criminal five times. She had given him her phone number so he could use his contraband mobile phone to send her sexts about lurid encounters they had or were planning to have.

Claudia Sturt will take up the role in May 2021 replacing Colin Allars, who recently announced his retirement.
Chair of the Youth Justice Board (YJB) Keith Fraser said:
The Board and I are pleased to announce that Claudia Sturt has been appointed as the new CEO for the Youth Justice Board.

She was appointed as the first Director of Security, Order and Counter Terrorism at the National Offender Management Service, and before that was Governor in a number of prisons.
names
Prominent figures can just be named in stories, with their function at second mention: “George Osborne said last night . “ (first mention); “the chancellor added . “ (subsequent mentions)
Where it is thought necessary to explain who someone is, write “Chris Wilder, the Sheffield United manager, said” or “the Sheffield United manager, Chris Wilder, said”, etc.
In such cases the commas around the name indicate there is only one person in the position, so write “the Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, said” (only one person in the job), but “the former Labour leader Neil Kinnock said” (there have been many).
Do not leave out the definite article in such constructions as “style guru David Marsh said . “ It should be “The style guru David Marsh” (if there are other style gurus) or “David Marsh, the style guru, . “ (if you feel only one person merits such a description)
