The arrival of coronavirus vaccine from various sources is continuing to supplement the national vaccination drive across the country, as the 2.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine donated to Pakistan by the US government are flying in on Friday (today).
In a session earlier this week, chaired by National Coordinator Lt Gen Hamooduz Zaman Khan, the National Command Operations Centre (NCOC), expressed satisfaction over the availability of the coronavirus vaccine in the country.

NCOC not in favor of staging remaining PSL matches in Pakistan

LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) is not in favor of staging remaining matches of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Pakistan amid surge of coronavirus case during third wave of pandemic.
Sources said that the NCOC is not in favor of holding the PSL matches in Pakistan, however, the board officials are trying to persuade the NCOC to hold the matches in Pakistan.
The NCOC has asked the PCB to stage remaining matches in UAE and the board will make final decision regarding remaining matches of the league after Eid.
With the NCOC being the sole authority monitoring the Covid-19 situation in Pakistan, a fresh review is necessary to move forward with the remaining PSL season. File
LAHORE: A final decision on the completion of the HBL Pakistan Super League season, whether to hold it in Karachi or to shift it to the back-up venue of the United Arab Emirates, will be taken during a meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the National Command Operations Centre which is expected to be held this week.
