Patricia Duncan-Sutherland, another loyalist of the People s National Party (PNP) President, Mark Golding, is the new President of the PNP Women s Movement.
The announcement, which was made on Saturday by the PNP via its Facebook page, comes after four key supporters of Golding were nominated for the party s four vice-presidents slots on Friday.
Duncan-Sutherland will succeed Jennifer Edwards as president of the movement.

Richard Azan, the PNP caretaker for North West Clarendon, was successfully nominated on Friday before the close of the nominations for vice-president.

The other contenders for the post are: Ian Hayles, the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Western Hanover; Spanish Town Mayor, Norman Scott, who chairs the St Catherine Municipal Corporation; and Eugene Kelly, Councillor for the Whitfield Town Division in South West St Andrew.
