March 10, 2021 ABOUT 18 city and town mayors allied with the ruling PDP-Laban are supporting moves to urge President Rodrigo Duterte to run for the vice presidential seat during the 2022 national and local elections.
This was agreed on following the resolution passed by the mayors in Metro Manila allied with the ruling party asking Duterte to run for vice president.

President Ashraf Ghani hosted a meeting Thursday of high-ranking Afghan officials and other influential individuals in order to formulate a comprehensive plan for the upcoming peace summit in Ankara, Turkey.
According to the Presidential Palace (ARG), Ghani hopes to secure national consensus to strengthen government’s position in the talks.
