The photo is also of a partial tree branch that was down, and blocking part of one of the streets in Fairfield. National Arbor Day was recognized on April 30 with representatives from Fayette County Public Health, the local EMS, members of Washington Court House City Council and members of the tree committee present at a ceremony.

National Arbor Day was celebrated on April 30. This year, a Magnolia was planted at the Carnegie Public Library Board in honor of Healthcare workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Washington Court House and Fayette County, according to Kelley Ford, administrative secretary for the city.

MIDDLETOWN Officials and residents celebrated two years worth of award celebrations in one event Friday, as the city honored Arbor Day with a tree dedication ceremony.
Jane Harris, arborist and chairwoman of the Urban Forestry Commission, pointed out one of the many benefits of trees as gusty winds swirled during the event.
About 30 donated stone fruit trees were planted Friday at the Arnaz Program Center in Ventura.
The planting coincided with National Arbor Day, which is typically celebrated on the last Friday of April, according to the Arbor Day Foundation. The trees were donated by Southern California Gas Company to the center s orchard, which lies between Casitas Springs and Oak View.
Friday s planting is the latest of several updates made to the center, nicknamed Camp Arnaz, which hosts events for the Girl Scouts of California s Central Coast and other community organizations. The updates include an archery and BB fun range, an astronomy center and more.
