Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], February 24 (ANI): ChhattisgarhChief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday directed collectors to ensure COVID-19 testing arrangements at the airport and the inter-state borders, especially at Maharashtra border in view of the surge in various cities of Maharashtra.
Addressing the high-level meeting held in his office today, Baghel said that strict compliance with the guidelines for the prevention of COVID-19 should be ensured. There has been a sharp rise in a number of COVID cases in various cities of Maharashtra including Delhi, Mumbai, hence Collectors of all the districts should be alerted and directed to ensure testing arrangements at the airport and the inter-state borders, especially at Maharashtra border, he said.
Dry run in 6 Chhattisgarh districts
Raipur: The Covid âdry runâ (mock drill) was held in capital Raipur and six districts including Surguja, Durg, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Bastar and Gaurela Pendra Marwahi in Chhattisgarh to test the preparedness and quality of vaccine delivery. Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo and Director National Health Mission Dr Priyanka Shukla inspected Covid vaccination âdry runâ held in Raipur, an official press release said on Saturday. The Health Minister visited Saraswati Primary School vaccinaÂtion centre in Purani Basti locality of capital city Raipur. He interacted with health officials on the spot and inquired about problems faced during vaccination.
