Professor Trần Quý Tường, general director of the Agency of Information Technology under the Ministry of Health, said that 100 per cent of hospitals nationwide are using a hospital management information system, and that 10 hospitals and one clinic are using electronic medical records instead of paper.

Hanoi expands the pedestrian street space
The weekend walking space will be enlarged for community activities, fostering trade, services, tourism and cultural exchange.
According to the Steering Committee of Hoan Kiem pedestrian space, the weekend walking space around Hoan Kiem Lake will be enlarged to the south, connecting some streets in Hanoi’s Old Quarter area to Hoan Kiem Lake.
The weekend pedestrian space including Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the area around Hoan Kiem lake and its vicinity has been opened since 2004. It was initially aimed at encouraging people to walk instead of gluing themselves to the motorbike seat, as well as creating spaces for community activities, fostering trade, services, tourism and cultural exchange.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has not yet detected the
new strain of
coronavirus that has spread in the
UK among legal immigrants, a health official
affirmed on December 25.
Hoang Minh Duc, deputy head of the General Department of Preventive Medicine,
said at a meeting of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention
and Control that Vietnam has gone through 24 straight days without any
coronavirus infections in the community.
The total cases of COVID-19 in the country stand at 1,439, he said, adding that
Vietnam has basically contained the pandemic.
