Kim Greenfield, of Inca Lodge Alpacas, plans to expand her operation to include tours. On Sunday she opened her gates at Inca Lodge Alpacas to the public as part of National Alpaca Day. By midday 70 people had come through to view the alpacas, many of them family groups. “They saw the new babies for the season; we’ve got 14, and all the different ages and colours. There are 22 different colours. The kids love them.” Greenfield said her daughter helped, and she had a woman who came to feed out as well, but the alpacas were easy to care for.
