A small single-engine plane that took off Wednesday afternoon from Windsor’s airport was forced soon after to make an emergency landing nearby in a farmer’s field.
“It is my understanding the plane lost power,” said Mark Galvin, the airport’s CEO. “It was able to land safely in the farmer’s field. Thankfully, there were no injuries or damage to the plane.”
