Telangana: The Telangana Police Department has taken a crucial decision at a time when cybercrime is on the rise. The DGP Mahender Reddy has announced that cyber warriors would be deployed in every police station.
As the number of cybercrimes is increasing day by day Telangana Police Department has taken a key decision. DGP Mahender Reddy said that steps are being taken to set up special cyber warrior units in all police stations across the state with the aim of curbing cybercrime. This will allow cybercrime to be monitored locally.
Laws must be implemented strictly to reduce crimes against women: Kavitha

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party MLC K Kavitha on Saturday said that strict implementation of existing laws would prevent the crime against women in the state.
“The laws for the safety of women must be enforced properly for the safety and security of women. Public and police must work hand in hand to reduce violence against women,” Kavitha said while addressing a gathering at the distribution of Sangamitra awards held in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate limits.
She added that the administration ensure that severe steps are taken to reduce the crimes against women.
