Chicago police say three individuals, including a 14-year-old boy, were injured in a shooting Monday on the city’s West Side.

A 14-year-old boy was shot in both legs, and was transported to an area hospital, where his condition had stabilized, according to authorities. A 34-year-old man was shot in the left leg, and his condition had been stabilized at a nearby hospital.
12-year-old girl reported missing from Clearing

CHICAGO - A 12-year-old girl has been reported missing from the
Clearing neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago.
Nevaeh Montes De Oca was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants and white gym shoes.
She is described as White Hispanic, 4 10 and weighs 110 pounds.
She has black hair, a light complexion and brown eyes.
Thigpen was transported to Mount Sinai, where he was pronounced dead.
The fatal shooting was one of three that occurred within an hour of one another on Saturday. A 36-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times by an acquaintance in the 600 block of North Homan Avenue at approximately 9:56 p.m., police said.
Another man, a 23-year-old, was shot in the chest at approximately 10:25 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Harrison. He was taken to an area hospital by a friend, but later died from his injuries.
Community activist Andrew Holmes spoke out about the shootings after Thigpen’s death was confirmed.
At approximately 6:51 p.m., police placed the suspect into custody following an investigation in the 1500 block of South Springfield, authorities said. The individual was taken to Area Four Police Headquarters for questioning.
Jaslyn was fatally shot April 18 in a Homan Square McDonald s drive-thru while sitting in a car with her father.
Police announced Saturday that Marion Lewis, 18, was charged with murder in connection with the young girl s death, among a slew of other felonies.
According to a proffer provided by Cook County prosecutors, Adams and her father were sitting in the drive-thru when a vehicle pulled in behind them. The vehicle was allegedly being driven by Lewis, according to the proffer.
