STADIO Higher Education introduces BA Law degree By Brandstories Share STADIO Higher Education, one of South Africa’s largest consolidated private tertiary education institutions, has announced that it has received approval from the Department of Higher Education (DHET) to present the Bachelor of the Arts in Law degree in the first semester of 2021. STADIO Higher Education came into existence in October last year following the consolidation of Southern Business School, Embury, LISOF, and Prestige Academy, and has five faculties across ten campuses in South Africa and Namibia. “The BA Law rounds off our undergraduate offering in the Faculty of Law quite nicely now with students being able to choose between the Bachelor of Arts in Law (BA Law) and the Bachelor of Commerce in Law (BCom Law),” says Christo Swart, acting head of the STADIO School of Law.

Stadio Holdings shares surge by more than 9% on strong trading By Sandile Mchunu Share DURBAN - STADIO Holdings share price surged by more than 9 percent on the JSE yesterday morning after the investment company in private higher education said it expected its full-year earnings to increase as much as 41 percent for the year to end December. Its share price later closed the day at R2.27. The group expected its core headline earnings per share to be between 13.1 cents a share and 15.3c, an increase of between 21 percent and 41 percent compared to 10.8c reported last year. Stadio said it utilised core headline earnings to measure and benchmark the underlying performance of the business.

At the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), they receive ten times the number of applications (91 000 applicants with only 8 770 spots), while Wits University in Gauteng receives 14 times the number of applications (70 349 applicants with only 5 000 spots available).
