THREE teenagers spotted getting out of a stolen Audi at Hastings last week sparked a high-speed police pursuit all the way to Geelong.
Southern Metro Region Crime Team detectives charged the trio following the alleged theft of three cars, Tuesday 20 July.
A 14-year-old Dandenong boy was charged with 24 offences, including aggravated burglary, four counts of theft of motor vehicles, dangerous driving while being pursued by police, possessing a firearm and reckless conduct endangering life.
Two 17-year-olds, a male and female from Cranbourne, were charged with 16 offences, including aggravated burglary, four counts of theft of motor vehicles and theft. All were remanded to appear before a children’s court at a later date.

A 14-year-old Dandenong boy has been charged with dangerous driving after an alleged high-speed pursuit in a stolen BMW on 21 July.
He and his two 17-year-old passengers from Cranbourne were charged with a host of offences including four car thefts and aggravated burglary.
The driver allegedly refused to stop for police on Monash Freeway that morning.
The car was then followed by police officers on-the-ground and the Police Air Wing along West Gate Freeway and Princes Freeway, police say.
The three teens were intercepted and arrested on the Geelong Ring Road in Fyansford about 11.15am.

Police arrest three after pursuit across Melbourne
Southern Metro Region Crime Team detectives expect to charge three teenagers following the theft of three cars and a subsequent pursuit at high speeds from Hastings to Geelong this morning.
The teenagers were allegedly seen getting out of a stolen Audi and getting into a blue BMW sedan, also allegedly stolen, in Hasting just after 10am.
The Audi was one of two cars reported stolen from an aggravated burglary on Lemon Road in Balwyn North overnight while the BMW was reported stolen from a Braeside car dealer yesterday evening.
The driver of the BMW refused to stop when police attempted to intercept him and sped off, travelling on the Monash Freeway, the Westgate Freeway and the Princes Freeway before being intercepted on the Geelong Ring Road at Fyansford at 11.15am.

Three teenagers from the South East have been arrested after an alleged high-speed pursuit in a stolen car spanning about 150 kilometres in little over an hour.
A 14-year-old Dandenong boy, a 17-year-old Cranbourne boy and a 17-year-old Cranbourne West girl were arrested in Fyansford, west Geelong about 11.15am on Wednesday 21 July.
It was about one hour after they were spotted allegedly climbing out of a stolen Audi into a stolen blue BMW sedan in Hastings just after 10am.
In Hastings, the BMW driver allegedly refused to stop during an attempted police intercept and sped off.
It travelled on the Monash Freeway, the West Gate Freeway and then onto the Princes Freeway, police say.
